ICELAND, LAND OF ICE AND FIRE
With about 340,000 inhabitants, Iceland has become a social and economic role model, thanks to the way its people live, being the third happiest country of the world, the most pacific one, and considered one of the best countries to live in if you’re a woman, due to gender equality conditions. We went over 1,340 km of ice, volcanoes, rivers, and mountains, to discover how they have used nature to escape isolation and to become a sustainable country. We met the modest, friendly, and welcoming Icelanders on a journey through Viking legends and magical creatures. This is “Iceland, land of ice and fire”.
