Lord Cochrane, Master and Commander
While building a wind farm in southern Chile, Scottish businessman Adam Bruce discovers the legacy of his great great great grandfather, Lord Thomas Cochrane. This bold naval officer shone in the Napoleonic wars in France, fought for the Independence of Chile, Peru, Brazil and Greece and was buried with honours in Westminster Abbey. Adam uncovers the many facets of Cochrane as a Member of Parliament, Admiral, farmer, inventor and romantic hero. He embarks on a 65,000 kilometers journey, which takes him through 16 cities in seven countries worldwide.
